39 and Zadok the priest and his brethren the priests, (A)before the tabernacle of the Lord (B)at the [a]high place that was at Gibeon, 40 to offer burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly (C)morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the Law of the Lord which He commanded Israel; 41 and with them Heman and Jeduthun and the rest who were chosen, who were designated by name, to give thanks to the Lord, (D)because His mercy endures forever;

New International Version
39 David left Zadok(A) the priest and his fellow priests before the tabernacle of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon(B) 40 to present burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly, morning and evening, in accordance with everything written in the Law(C) of the Lord, which he had given Israel. 41 With them were Heman(D) and Jeduthun and the rest of those chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the Lord, “for his love endures forever.”
