아론과 그의 아들들의 위임식
8 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
2 “너는 아론과 그의 아들들을 성막 입 구로 불러오고 또 그들이 입을 예복과 거룩한 의식에 쓸 기름과 속죄제를 위한 수송아지와 숫양 두 마리와 그리고 누룩을 넣지 않고 만든 빵 한 광주리를 가져온 다음
3 모든 백성을 그리로 불러모아라.”
4 그래서 모세는 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 모든 백성을 성막 입구에 불러모아 놓고
5 “지금부터 내가 하려고 하는 일은 여호와께서 명령하신 것입니다” 하고 말하였다.
6 그런 다음 모세는 아론과 그의 아들들을 데려다가 물로 씻기고
7 아론에게 속옷을 입히고 띠를 띠우고 겉옷을 입히며 에봇을 걸쳐 준 후에 그 에봇이 몸에 붙어 있도록 정교하게 짠 에봇의 띠를 매어 주었다.
8 그리고 그는 가슴패를 달아 주고 그 주머니 안에 [a]우림과 둠밈을 넣고
9 그의 머리에 관을 씌우고 그 관 전면에 거룩한 금패를 달아 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 하였다.
10 그리고 모세는 거룩한 기름을 가져다가 성막과 그 안에 있는 모든 기구에 발라 그것들을 거룩하게 하고
11 또 단 위에 그 기름을 일곱 번 뿌리고 난 다음 단과 거기에 따른 기구와 물통과 그 받침에도 기름을 발라 거룩하게 하였다.
12 그리고 그는 아론의 머리에 기름을 부어 발라 그를 거룩하게 하였다.
13 또 모세는 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 아론의 아들들을 앞으로 불러내어 그들에게 예복을 입히고 띠를 띠우며 관을 씌워 주었다.
14 그런 다음 모세는 속죄제물로 수송아지를 끌어와서 아론과 그의 아들들이 그 수송아지 머리에 손을 얹게 한 후에
15 그것을 잡아 피를 받은 다음 손가락으로 피를 찍어 제단의 네 뿔에 발라 단을 깨끗하게 하고 그 나머지 피는 단 밑바닥에 부어 단을 정결하게 하였다.
16 또 그는 내장에 덮인 모든 기름과 간을 덮고 있는 간 꺼풀과 두 콩팥과 그 기름을 떼어내어 그것들을 단 위에서 모두 불로 태웠다.
17 그리고 그 수송아지의 가죽과 고기와 똥은 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 야영지 밖에서 태워 버렸다.
18 그리고 모세는 번제물로 숫양을 끌고 와서 아론과 그의 아들들이 그 숫양의 머리에 손을 얹게 한 후에
19 그것을 잡고 피를 받아 단 주변에 뿌린 다음
20 숫양의 각을 뜨고 그 머리와 각 뜬 고기와 기름을 불로 태우고
21 내장과 다리는 물로 씻어 그 숫양을 전부 불에 태웠다. 이것은 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 여호와께 불로 태워 바치는 번제 곧 여호와를 기쁘게 하는 화제였다.
22 모세는 그 위임식을 위해서 또 다른 한 마리의 숫양을 끌고 와서 아론과 그의 아들들이 그 머리에 손을 얹게 한 후에
23 그것을 잡고 그 피를 찍어다가 아론의 오른쪽 귓불과 오른쪽 엄지손가락과 오른쪽 엄지발가락에 발랐다.
24 그리고 아론의 아들들에게도 오른쪽 귓불과 오른쪽 엄지손가락과 오른쪽 엄지발가락에 그 피를 바르고 나머지 피는 단 주변에 뿌렸다.
25 그런 다음 그는 그 제물의 기름과 기름진 꼬리와 내장에 덮인 모든 기름과 간 꺼풀과 두 콩팥과 그 위의 기름을 떼어내고 오른쪽 뒷다리를 잘라내어
26 여호와 앞에 바친 빵 광주리에서 누룩을 넣지 않고 만든 빵 한 개와 기름 섞은 빵 한 개와 얇게 구운 과자 하나를 집어내어 그 위에 얹어 놓았다.
27 그리고 그는 이 모든 것을 아론과 그의 아들들에게 주어 제단 앞에서 흔들어 여호와께 바치게 하였다.
28 그런 다음 모세는 그들에게서 그것들을 다시 받아 번제물과 함께 단에서 불로 태워 여호와께 바쳤다. 이것은 여호와를 기쁘게 하는 향기로운 위임식 제사이며 불로 태워 바친 화제였다.
29 또 모세는 그 위임식 숫양의 가슴을 들고 제단 앞에서 흔들어 여호와께 바친 다음 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 그것을 자기 몫으로 삼았다.
30 그리고 모세는 약간의 위임식 기름과 제단에 뿌렸던 피를 조금 거두어 그것들을 아론과 그의 아들들과 그들의 옷에 뿌려 그들과 그 옷을 거룩하게 하였다.
31 그런 다음 그는 아론과 그의 아들들에게 말하였다. “여러분은 내가 지시한 대로 성막 입구에서 그 숫양의 고기를 삶아 위임식 제물의 광주리에 들어 있는 빵과 함께 먹고
32 남은 고기와 빵은 불에 태워 버리십시오.
33 그리고 여러분은 위임식이 거행되는 7일 동안 성막 입구를 떠나서는 안 됩니다.
34 오늘 우리가 한 일은 여호와께서 여러분의 죄를 속하기 위해 명령하신 것입니다.
35 여러분은 7일 동안 밤낮 성막 입구에 머물러 있으면서 여호와의 명령을 지키도록 하십시오. 만일 여러분이 성막 입구를 떠나는 날에는 반드시 죽을 것입니다. 이것은 여호와께서 나에게 명령하신 것입니다.”
36 그래서 아론과 그의 아들들은 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 모든 것을 그대로 행하였다.

The Ordination of Aaron and His Sons(A)
8 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Bring Aaron and his sons,(B) their garments,(C) the anointing oil,(D) the bull for the sin offering,[a](E) the two rams(F) and the basket containing bread made without yeast,(G) 3 and gather the entire assembly(H) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.” 4 Moses did as the Lord commanded him, and the assembly gathered at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
5 Moses said to the assembly, “This is what the Lord has commanded to be done.(I)” 6 Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water.(J) 7 He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him. He also fastened the ephod with a decorative waistband, which he tied around him.(K) 8 He placed the breastpiece(L) on him and put the Urim and Thummim(M) in the breastpiece. 9 Then he placed the turban(N) on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the sacred emblem,(O) on the front of it, as the Lord commanded Moses.(P)
10 Then Moses took the anointing oil(Q) and anointed(R) the tabernacle(S) and everything in it, and so consecrated them. 11 He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, anointing the altar and all its utensils and the basin with its stand, to consecrate them.(T) 12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed(U) him to consecrate him.(V) 13 Then he brought Aaron’s sons(W) forward, put tunics(X) on them, tied sashes around them and fastened caps on them, as the Lord commanded Moses.(Y)
14 He then presented the bull(Z) for the sin offering,(AA) and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.(AB) 15 Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood,(AC) and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar(AD) to purify the altar.(AE) He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it.(AF) 16 Moses also took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and burned it on the altar. 17 But the bull with its hide and its flesh and its intestines(AG) he burned up outside the camp,(AH) as the Lord commanded Moses.
18 He then presented the ram(AI) for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. 19 Then Moses slaughtered the ram and splashed the blood against the sides of the altar. 20 He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces and the fat.(AJ) 21 He washed the internal organs and the legs with water and burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
22 He then presented the other ram, the ram for the ordination,(AK) and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.(AL) 23 Moses slaughtered the ram and took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.(AM) 24 Moses also brought Aaron’s sons forward and put some of the blood on the lobes of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Then he splashed blood against the sides of the altar.(AN) 25 After that, he took the fat(AO), the fat tail, all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, both kidneys and their fat and the right thigh. 26 And from the basket of bread made without yeast, which was before the Lord, he took one thick loaf, one thick loaf with olive oil mixed in, and one thin loaf,(AP) and he put these on the fat portions and on the right thigh. 27 He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and they waved them before the Lord(AQ) as a wave offering. 28 Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar on top of the burnt offering as an ordination offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord. 29 Moses also took the breast, which was his share of the ordination ram,(AR) and waved it before the Lord as a wave offering, as the Lord commanded Moses.
30 Then Moses(AS) took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments(AT) and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated(AU) Aaron and his garments and his sons and their garments.
31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, “Cook the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting(AV) and eat it there with the bread from the basket of ordination offerings, as I was commanded: ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’ 32 Then burn up the rest of the meat and the bread. 33 Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for your ordination will last seven days.(AW) 34 What has been done today was commanded by the Lord(AX) to make atonement for you. 35 You must stay at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and do what the Lord requires,(AY) so you will not die; for that is what I have been commanded.”
36 So Aaron and his sons did everything the Lord commanded through Moses.
