यहोवा सृजनहार अहइ: उ अमर अहइ
41 यहोवा कहा करत ह,
“सुदूरवर्ती देसो, चुप रहा अउर मोरे लगे आवा।
जातियो, फुन स सुदृढ़ बना।
मोरे लगे आवा अउर मोहसे बातन करा।
आपुस मँ मिलिके हम निहचय करी
कि उचित का अहइ।
2 कउन उ बिजेता क जगाएस ह, जउन पूरब स आइ?
कउन ओहसे दूसर देसन क हरवावत अउर राजा लोगन क अधीन कइ देत?
कउन ओकर तरवारन क एतना बढ़ाइ देत ह कि उ पचे अनगिनत होइ जात जेतना रेत-कण होत हीं?
कउन ओकरे धनुसन क ऍतना अनगिनत कइ देत
जेतना भूसे क छिलकन होत हीं?
3 उ मनई पाछा करी अउर ओन रास्ट्रन क पाछा बगैर नोस्कान उठाए करत रही
अउर अइसे ओन ठहूरन तलक जाइ जहाँ उ पहिले कबहुँ गवा ही नाहीं।
4 कउन इ सबइ सब घटित करत ह? कउन इ किहेस?
कउन आदि स सबलोगन क बोलाएस?
मइँ यहोवा एन सबइ बातन क किहेउँ।
मइँ यहोवा ही सबसे पहिला हउँ।
आदि क पहिले स मोर अस्तित्व रहा ह, अउर जब सब कछू चला जाइ तउ भी मइँ हिअँइ रहब।
5 सुदूरवर्ती देस एका लखिहीं
अउर भयभीत होइँ।
दूर धरती क छोर क लोग
फुन आपुस मँ एक जुट होइके
भय स काँपि उठइँ।”
6 “काम करइवालन एक दूसर क मदद करत ह अउर मज़बूत होइवइ बरे हिम्मत बढ़ावत ह। 7 मूर्ति बनावइ बरे एक कारीगर लकड़ी काटत अहइ। फुन उ मनई सुनारे क उत्साहित करत ह। एक कारीगर हथौड़े स धातु क पत्तर बनावत अहइ। फुन उ कारीगर निहायी पइ काम करइवाले मनई क प्रेरित करत अहइ। इ आखिरी कारीगर कहत अहइ, काम अच्छा अहइ, ‘किन्तु इ धातु बाहेर नाहीं निकरी।’ किन्तु उ तउ प भी मूरति क आधार पइ कीले स जड़ि द्या, ताकि इ कबहुँ हिल-डुल तलक नाहीं पाई।”
यहोवा ही हमार रच्छा कइ सकत ह
8 यहोवा कहत ह: “हे मोर सेवक इस्राएल,
हे याकूब मोर मीत इब्राहींम क सन्तान
तोहका मइँ चुनेउँ ह,
9 मइँ तोहका भूइँया क
दूर जगह स उठाएउँ।
मइँ तू पचन्क उ दूर देस स बोलाएउँ।
मइँ कहेउँ, ‘तू मोर सेवक अहा।’
मइँ तोहका चुनेउँ ह
अउर मइँ तोहका रद्द किहेउँ ह।
10 तू चिन्ता जिन करा, मइँ तोहरे संग हउँ।
तू भयभीत जिन ह्वा, मइँ तोहार परमेस्सर हउँ।
मइँ तोहका सुदृढ़ करब।
मइँ तोहका आपन नेकी क दाहिने हाथे स सहारा देब।
11 लखा, कछू लोग तोहसे नाराज अहइँ
किन्तु उ पचे लजइहीं।
जउन तोहार दुस्मन अहइँ उ पचे नाहीं रहिहीं, उ पचे सब हेराइ जइहीं।
12 तू अइसे ओन लोगन क खोज करब्या जउन तोहरे बिरुद्ध रहेन।
किन्तु तू ओनका नाहीं पउब्या।
उ पचे सबइ लोग जउन तोहसे लड़ा रहेन,
पूरी तरह लुप्त होइ जइहीं।
13 मइँ तोहार परमेस्सर यहोवा हउँ।
मइँ तोहार सीधा हाथ थाम रखे हउँ।
मइँ तोहसे कहत हउँ कि ‘जिन डेराउन।
मइँ तोहका सहारा देब।’
14 कीमती यहूदा, तू निर्भय रहा।
हे मोर प्रिय इस्राएल क लोगो! भयभीत जिन रहा।
फुरइ मइँ तोहका मदद देबउँ।”
खुद यहोवा ही इ सबइ बातन कहे रहा।
“इस्राएल क पवित्तर परमेस्सर
जउन तोहार रच्छा करत ह, कहे रहा:
15 लखा, मइँ तोहका एक नवे दाँवइ क औजार जइसा बनाएउँ ह।
इ औजारे मँ बहोत स दाँतन अहइँ जउन बहोत तीखे अहइँ।
किसान एका अनाज क छिलका उतारइ क काम मँ लिआवत हीं।
तू पर्वतन क गोड़न तले मसलब्या अउर ओनका धूरि मँ मिलाइ देब्या।
तू पर्वतन क अइसा कइ देब्या जइसे भूसा होत ह।
16 तू ओनका हवा मँ उछरब्या
अउर हवा ओनका उड़ाइके दूर लइ जाइ अउर ओनका कहूँ छितराई देइ।
तब तू यहोवा मँ टिकिके आनन्दित होब्या।
तोहका इस्राएल क पवित्तर परमेस्सर प बहोत गर्व होइ।
17 “गरीब जन, अउर जरूरतमंद जल हेरत हीं
किन्तु ओनका जल नाहीं मिलत ह।
उ पचे पियासा अहइँ अउर ओनकर जीभ झुरान अहइ।
मइँ ओनकर बिनतियन क जवाब देब।
मइँ ओनका न ही तजब अउर न ही मरइ देब।
18 मइँ झुरान पहाड़ पइ नदियन बहाइ देब।
घाटियन मँ स जलस्रोत बहाइ देब।
मइँ रेगिस्तान क जल स भरी झील मँ बदल देब।
उ झुरान धरती पइ पानी क सोतन मिलिहीं।
19 रेगिस्तान मँ देवदार क, कीकर क, जैतून क,
सनावर क, तिघारे क, चीड़ क बृच्छ जमिहीं।
20 लोग अइसा होत भए लखिहीं
अउर उ पचे जानिहीं कि यहोवा क सक्ति इ सब किहेस ह।
लोग एनका लखिहीं अउर समुझब सुरू करिहीं
कि इस्राएल क पवित्तर परमेस्सर इ बातन किहेस ह।”
यहोवा क लबार देवतन क चितउनी
21 यहोवा, याकूब क राजा कहत ह, “आ, अउर मोका आपन मुकदमा द्या। आपन सबूत मोका देखावा। तब हम इ निहचय करब कि का उचित अहइँ?” 22 तोहरे पचन्क मूरतियन क हमरे लगे आइके, जउन घटत अहइ, उ बतावइ चाही। “सुरू मँ का कछू घटा रहा अउर भविस्स मँ का घटइवाला अहइ। हमका बतावा हम बड़े धियान स सुनब। जेहसे हम इ जान जाइ कि अगवा का होइवाला अहइ। 23 हमका ओन बातन क बतावा जउन घटइवाली अहइँ। जेनका जानइ क हमका इन्तजार अहइ ताकि हम पतियायी कि फुरइ तू देवता अहा। कछू करा। चाहे भला चाहे बुरा ताकि हम लखि सकी अउर जान सकी कि तू जिअत अहा अउर तोहार अनुसरण करी।
24 “लखा, हे लबार देवता, तू पचे बेकार स भी जियादा बेकार अहा! तू पचे कछू भी नाहीं कइ सकत्या। केवल बेकार क भ्रस्ट लोग ही तू पचन्क पूजइ चाहत हीं।”
बस यहोवा ही परमेस्सर अहइ
25 “जवाब मँ मइँ एक मनई क उठाएउँ ह।
उ पूरब स जहाँ सूरज उगा करत ह, आवत अहइ।
उ मोरे नाउँ क उपासना किया करत ह।
जइसे कोहार माटी रौंदा करत ह वइसे ही
उ बिसेस मनई राजा लोगन क रौंदी।
26 “इ सबइ घटइ स पहिले ही हमका जउन बताएस ह, हमका ओका परमेस्सर कहइ चाही।
का हमका इ सबइ बातन तू पचन्क कउनो मूरति बताएस? नाहीं।
कउनो भी मूरति कछू भी हमका नाहीं बताए रही।
उ सबइ मूरतियन तउ एक भी सब्द नाहीं बोल पावत हीं।
उ सबइ लबार देवतन एक भी सब्द जउन तू पचे बोला करत ह नाहीं सुन पावत हीं।
27 मइँ, यहोवा पहिले रहेउँ जउन इ बातन क बिसय मँ सिय्योन क बताएउँ ह!
उ मइँ ही रहेउँ जउन दूत क इ बड़िया संदेस क साथ यरूसलेम पठएउँ!
‘लखा, तोहार लोग वापस आवत अहइँ।’”
28 जइसा मइँ लखेस,
हुवाँ कउनो एक भी मोजूद नाहीं रहा जउन आपन तर्क पेस करी!
का एकर मतलब अहइ कि ओन देवतन मँ स एक भी वकील न रही!
मइँ ओका प्रस्न पूछेस,
किन्तु ओनमाँ स कउनो भी कछू नाहीं बोलेस!
29 लखा, इ सबइ देवतन बिल्कुल ही बियर्थ अहइँ!
उ पचे कछू नाहीं कइ पावतेन!
उ कछू नाहीं सिरिफ हवा अहइ।

The Helper of Israel
41 “Be silent(A) before me, you islands!(B)
Let the nations renew their strength!(C)
Let them come forward(D) and speak;
let us meet together(E) at the place of judgment.
2 “Who has stirred(F) up one from the east,(G)
calling him in righteousness(H) to his service[a]?(I)
He hands nations over to him
and subdues kings before him.
He turns them to dust(J) with his sword,
to windblown chaff(K) with his bow.(L)
3 He pursues them and moves on unscathed,(M)
by a path his feet have not traveled before.
4 Who has done this and carried it through,
calling(N) forth the generations from the beginning?(O)
I, the Lord—with the first of them
and with the last(P)—I am he.(Q)”
5 The islands(R) have seen it and fear;
the ends of the earth(S) tremble.
They approach and come forward;
6 they help each other
and say to their companions, “Be strong!(T)”
7 The metalworker(U) encourages the goldsmith,(V)
and the one who smooths with the hammer
spurs on the one who strikes the anvil.
One says of the welding, “It is good.”
The other nails down the idol so it will not topple.(W)
8 “But you, Israel, my servant,(X)
Jacob, whom I have chosen,(Y)
you descendants of Abraham(Z) my friend,(AA)
9 I took you from the ends of the earth,(AB)
from its farthest corners I called(AC) you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;(AD)
I have chosen(AE) you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear,(AF) for I am with you;(AG)
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen(AH) you and help(AI) you;
I will uphold you(AJ) with my righteous right hand.(AK)
11 “All who rage(AL) against you
will surely be ashamed and disgraced;(AM)
those who oppose(AN) you
will be as nothing and perish.(AO)
12 Though you search for your enemies,
you will not find them.(AP)
Those who wage war against you
will be as nothing(AQ) at all.
13 For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand(AR)
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help(AS) you.
14 Do not be afraid,(AT) you worm(AU) Jacob,
little Israel, do not fear,
for I myself will help(AV) you,” declares the Lord,
your Redeemer,(AW) the Holy One(AX) of Israel.
15 “See, I will make you into a threshing sledge,(AY)
new and sharp, with many teeth.
You will thresh the mountains(AZ) and crush them,
and reduce the hills to chaff.(BA)
16 You will winnow(BB) them, the wind will pick them up,
and a gale(BC) will blow them away.(BD)
But you will rejoice(BE) in the Lord
and glory(BF) in the Holy One(BG) of Israel.
17 “The poor and needy search for water,(BH)
but there is none;
their tongues are parched with thirst.(BI)
But I the Lord will answer(BJ) them;
I, the God of Israel, will not forsake(BK) them.
18 I will make rivers flow(BL) on barren heights,
and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert(BM) into pools of water,(BN)
and the parched ground into springs.(BO)
19 I will put in the desert(BP)
the cedar and the acacia,(BQ) the myrtle and the olive.
I will set junipers(BR) in the wasteland,
the fir and the cypress(BS) together,(BT)
20 so that people may see and know,(BU)
may consider and understand,(BV)
that the hand(BW) of the Lord has done this,
that the Holy One(BX) of Israel has created(BY) it.
21 “Present your case,(BZ)” says the Lord.
“Set forth your arguments,” says Jacob’s King.(CA)
22 “Tell us, you idols,
what is going to happen.(CB)
Tell us what the former things(CC) were,
so that we may consider them
and know their final outcome.
Or declare to us the things to come,(CD)
23 tell us what the future holds,
so we may know(CE) that you are gods.
Do something, whether good or bad,(CF)
so that we will be dismayed(CG) and filled with fear.
24 But you are less than nothing(CH)
and your works are utterly worthless;(CI)
whoever chooses you is detestable.(CJ)
25 “I have stirred(CK) up one from the north,(CL) and he comes—
one from the rising sun who calls on my name.
He treads(CM) on rulers as if they were mortar,
as if he were a potter treading the clay.
26 Who told of this from the beginning,(CN) so we could know,
or beforehand, so we could say, ‘He was right’?
No one told of this,
no one foretold(CO) it,
no one heard any words(CP) from you.
27 I was the first to tell(CQ) Zion, ‘Look, here they are!’
I gave to Jerusalem a messenger of good news.(CR)
28 I look but there is no one(CS)—
no one among the gods to give counsel,(CT)
no one to give answer(CU) when I ask them.
29 See, they are all false!
Their deeds amount to nothing;(CV)
their images(CW) are but wind(CX) and confusion.
