عیساؤ کا خاندان
36 عیساؤ( ایدوم ) کے خا ندن کی تاریخ۔ 2 عیساؤ نے ملک کنعان کی ایک عورت سے شادی کی۔ عیساؤ کی بیویاں اِس طرح تھیں:حِتی ایلون کی بیٹی عدّہ، عنہ کی بیٹی اہلیبامہ جو کہ عنہ حوّی صبعون کی بیٹی تھیں۔ 3 اسمٰعیل کی بیٹی اور نبایو ت کی بہن بشامہ۔ 4 عیساؤ اور عدّہ سے اِلیفز نام کا ایک بیٹا تھا۔ اور بشامہ سے رعوایل پیدا ہوا۔ 5 اُہلیبا مہ کے یہ بیٹے تھے : یعوس ،یعلام اور قورح۔عیساؤ کے یہ سب بیٹے ملک کنعان میں پیدا ہو ئے۔
6-8 یعقوب اور عیساؤ کے قبیلے بہت وسیع اور پھیلے ہو ئے ہو نے کی وجہ سے ملک کنعان ان کے لئے نا کا فی ہو نے لگا۔ جس کی وجہ سے عیساؤ اپنے بھا ئی یعقوب سے دُور چلا گیا۔ عیساؤ اپنی بیویوں، بیٹوں اور بیٹیوں تمام نوکر چاکر اور تمام چوپا ئیوں اور دیگر حیوانات ، اور کنعان سے ہر قسم کی جائیداد کو لے کر کوہ شعیر کے دامن میں چلا گیا ( عیساؤ کا دوسرا نام ایدوم ہے۔ ملک شعیر کا دوسرا نام ایدوم بھی ہے )۔
9 عیساؤ ایدوم کی قوم کا جد اعلیٰ ہے۔ ملک شعیر میں قیام پذیر عیساؤ کے قبائل کے نام یہ ہیں۔
10 عیساؤ کے بیٹوں میں الیفز، جو عیساؤ کی بیوی عدّہ کے بطن سے پیدا ہوا۔ رعو ایل ، جو عیساؤ کی بیوی بشامہ کے بطن سے پیدا ہوا۔
11 الیفز کے یہ سب بیٹے تھے : تیمان ،اُومر، صفو، جعتام اور قنز۔
12 الیفزکی تمنع نام کی ایک خادمہ عورت بھی تھی۔ تمنِع اور الیفز سے عما لیق نام کا ایک بیٹا پیدا ہوا تھا۔ یہ سب عیساؤ کی بیوی عدّہ کی نسل سے تھے۔
13 رعوایل کے بیٹے یہ تھے : نحت ، زارح، سمّہ، اور مِزہ، یہ سب عیساؤ کی بیوی بشامہ کی نسل سے تھے۔
14 عیساؤ کی دوسری بیوی عنہ کی بیٹی اہلیبا مہ ( عنہ صبعون کی بیٹی تھی ) عیساؤ اور اہلیبامہ کی اولا د تھی :یعوس، یعلام ، اور قورح۔
15 یہ لوگ عیساؤ کے خاندان کے قبیلے کے تھے۔
عیساؤ کا پہلوٹھا بیٹا الیفز تھا۔ الیفز کی اولاد ، تیمان ، اُومر ،صفو،قنز ، 16 قورح ، جعتام ، اور عما لیق۔
یہ تمام خاندان ادوم کی سرزمین میں عیساؤ کی بیوی عدّہ کی نسل سے ہیں۔
17 عیساؤ کا بیٹا رعوایل ادوم کی سر زمین میں ان خاندانوں کا جدّ اعلیٰ تھا: نحت، زارح ، سمّہ اور مِزہ۔
یہ تمام خاندان عیسا ؤ کی بیوی بشامہ کی نسل سے ہیں۔
18 عنہ کی بیٹی عیساؤ کی بیوی اُ ہلیبامہ سے یہ سب پیدا ہو ئے : یعوس ، یعلام ، اور قورح۔ یہ تینوں اپنے اپنے قبائل کے سردار تھے۔
19 اِن تمام خاندان کے لئے عیساؤ ہی جدّ اعلیٰ تھا عیساؤ ادوم بھی کہلا تا تھا۔
20 عیساؤ سے قبل حوری قو م سے شعیر نام کا ایک آدمی ایدوم میں مقیم تھا۔شعیر کی نرینہ اولا د یہ ہیں:
لو طان ، سو بل، صبعون اور عنہ۔ 21 دیسون ، ایصر اور دیسان، یہ سب بیٹے ادوم کے سر زمین میں شعیر کی نسل سے حوری قبیلوں کے قائد تھے۔
22 لو طان، حوری اور ہیمام کا باپ تھا۔ اور ( تمِنع، لو طان کی بہن تھی۔)
23 سوبل ، علوان ، ما نحت ، غیبال، سفو اور اونام کا باپ تھا۔
24 صبعون کے بیٹے تھے : آیہ اور عنہ۔( جب عنہ اپنے با پ کے گدھے چرا رہا تھا تو اسی نے گرم پانی کے چشمے کو دیکھا۔)
25 عنہ دیسون اور اہلیبامہ کا باپ تھا۔
26 حمدان ، اشبان ،ایتران ، اور کران یہ دیسون کے بیٹے تھے۔
27 بلہان ، زعورن، اور عقان ، یہ ایصر کے بیٹے تھے۔
28 عوض اوراران دیسان کے بیٹے تھے۔
29 حوری خاندانوں کے قائدوں کے نام اِس طرح ہیں: لو طان ، سوبل ،صبعون اور عنہ ، 30 شعیر میں حوری خاندان کے قائد دیسون، ایصر اور دیسان تھے۔
31 اسرائیل میں بادشاہ ہو نے سے بہت پہلے ہی ایدوم میں بادشاہ تھے۔
32 بعور کا بیٹا بلع، ایدوم کا بادشاہ تھا۔ اور وہ دِنہا با شہر پر حکو مت کرتا تھا۔
33 بلع کی وفات کے بعد یُو باب بادشاہ بنا۔ اور یُوباب بُصر کے زارح کا بیٹا تھا۔
34 یُوباب کی وفات کے بعدحشیم حکمران ہوا۔ اور حشیم ، تیمان ملک کا باشندہ تھا۔
35 حشیم کا جب انتقال ہوا تو ہدد اُس ملک کا حکمران بنا۔ اور ہدد، بدد کا بیٹا تھا( اور مو آب کے رہنے وا لوں کو مِدیانیوں کے ملک میں جس نے شکست دی تھی وہ ہدد ہی تھا ) اور ہدد عویت شہر کا باشندہ تھا۔
36 ہدد کی وفات کے بعد ، شملہ نے اُس کے ملک پر حکمرانی کی۔ اور شملہ مُسروقہ کا باشندہ تھا۔
37 شملہ کی موت کے بعد ساؤل اُس ملک کا بادشاہ بنا۔ یو فریتس دریا کے کنا رے رحو بوت کا باشندہ تھا۔
38 ساؤل کی وفات کے بعد اس ملک پر بعلحنان حکومت کیا۔بعلحنان عکبور کا بیٹا تھا۔
39 بعلحنان کی موت کے بعد اُس ملک پر حدر نے حکومت کی۔ اور حدر پاؤ شہر کا رہنے وا لا تھا۔ اور حدر کی بیوی کانام مہیطب ایل تھا۔ اور مہیطب ایل ، مطرد کی بیٹی تھی( اور مطرد میضاہا باب کی بیٹی تھی۔)
40-43 عیساؤ، ایدوم وا لوں کے لئے جدّ اعلیٰ تھا۔ یہ قبیلے تھے :
جس علاقے میں یہ قبیلے رہتے تھے یہ اسی قبیلے کے نام سے جانے جا تے تھے۔ تمِنع، علوہ،یتیت،اُہلیبامہ، ایلہ، فینون ،قنز، تیمان ، مِبصار، مجد ایل ، اور عِرام۔

Esau’s Descendants(A)(B)
36 This is the account(C) of the family line of Esau (that is, Edom).(D)
2 Esau took his wives from the women of Canaan:(E) Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite,(F) and Oholibamah(G) daughter of Anah(H) and granddaughter of Zibeon the Hivite(I)— 3 also Basemath(J) daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.(K)
4 Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel,(L) 5 and Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam and Korah.(M) These were the sons of Esau, who were born to him in Canaan.
6 Esau took his wives and sons and daughters and all the members of his household, as well as his livestock and all his other animals and all the goods he had acquired in Canaan,(N) and moved to a land some distance from his brother Jacob.(O) 7 Their possessions were too great for them to remain together; the land where they were staying could not support them both because of their livestock.(P) 8 So Esau(Q) (that is, Edom)(R) settled in the hill country of Seir.(S)
9 This is the account(T) of the family line of Esau the father of the Edomites(U) in the hill country of Seir.
10 These are the names of Esau’s sons:
Eliphaz, the son of Esau’s wife Adah, and Reuel, the son of Esau’s wife Basemath.(V)
11 The sons of Eliphaz:(W)
Teman,(X) Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz.(Y)
12 Esau’s son Eliphaz also had a concubine(Z) named Timna, who bore him Amalek.(AA) These were grandsons of Esau’s wife Adah.(AB)
13 The sons of Reuel:
Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were grandsons of Esau’s wife Basemath.(AC)
14 The sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah(AD) daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon, whom she bore to Esau:
Jeush, Jalam and Korah.(AE)
15 These were the chiefs(AF) among Esau’s descendants:
The sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau:
Chiefs Teman,(AG) Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,(AH) 16 Korah,[a] Gatam and Amalek. These were the chiefs descended from Eliphaz(AI) in Edom;(AJ) they were grandsons of Adah.(AK)
17 The sons of Esau’s son Reuel:(AL)
Chiefs Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the chiefs descended from Reuel in Edom; they were grandsons of Esau’s wife Basemath.(AM)
18 The sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah:(AN)
Chiefs Jeush, Jalam and Korah.(AO) These were the chiefs descended from Esau’s wife Oholibamah daughter of Anah.
19 These were the sons of Esau(AP) (that is, Edom),(AQ) and these were their chiefs.(AR)
20 These were the sons of Seir the Horite,(AS) who were living in the region:
Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,(AT) 21 Dishon, Ezer and Dishan. These sons of Seir in Edom were Horite chiefs.(AU)
22 The sons of Lotan:
Hori and Homam.[b] Timna was Lotan’s sister.
23 The sons of Shobal:
Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
24 The sons of Zibeon:(AV)
Aiah and Anah. This is the Anah who discovered the hot springs[c](AW) in the desert while he was grazing the donkeys(AX) of his father Zibeon.
25 The children of Anah:(AY)
Dishon and Oholibamah(AZ) daughter of Anah.
26 The sons of Dishon[d]:
Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran and Keran.
27 The sons of Ezer:
Bilhan, Zaavan and Akan.
28 The sons of Dishan:
Uz and Aran.
29 These were the Horite chiefs:
Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,(BA) 30 Dishon, Ezer and Dishan. These were the Horite chiefs,(BB) according to their divisions, in the land of Seir.
The Rulers of Edom(BC)
31 These were the kings who reigned in Edom before any Israelite king(BD) reigned:
32 Bela son of Beor became king of Edom. His city was named Dinhabah.
33 When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah(BE) succeeded him as king.
34 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites(BF) succeeded him as king.
35 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian(BG) in the country of Moab,(BH) succeeded him as king. His city was named Avith.
36 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king.
37 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth(BI) on the river succeeded him as king.
38 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor succeeded him as king.
39 When Baal-Hanan son of Akbor died, Hadad[e] succeeded him as king. His city was named Pau, and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab.
40 These were the chiefs(BJ) descended from Esau, by name, according to their clans and regions:
Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 41 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 42 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 43 Magdiel and Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom, according to their settlements in the land they occupied.
This is the family line of Esau, the father of the Edomites.(BK)
