ہیکل کی زیارت کے وقت کا گیت گانا
125 جو لوگ خداوند پر توکّل کر تے ہیں، وہ کو ہِ صیّون کے جیسے ہوں گے۔
وہ کبھی بھی ڈگمگا نہیں پا ئیں گے۔ وہ ہمیشہ ہی اٹل رہیں گے۔
2 خداوند نے اپنے لوگوں کو ویسے ہی گھیرے میں لیا ہے ،
جیسے یروشلم چاروں جانب پہاڑوں سے گھِرا ہے خدا ابد تک اپنے لوگوں کی حفا ظت کرے گا۔
3 بُرے لوگ ہمیشہ نیک لوگوں کی زمین پر قابض نہیں رہیں گے۔
اگر بُرے لوگ ایسا کر نے لگ جا ئیں تو یقین ہے ، صادق بھی بُرے کام کر نے لگیں گے۔
4 اے خداوند! تُو بھلے لوگوں کے ساتھ ،
جن کے دِل پاک ہیں تُو بھلا ئی کر۔
5 اے خداوند! بُرے لوگوں کو سزا دے۔
وہ لوگ جو بُرائی کر تے ہیں تُو اُنکو سزا دے۔
اِسرائیل میں امن قائم رہے۔

A song of ascents.
1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,(A)
which cannot be shaken(B) but endures forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,(C)
so the Lord surrounds(D) his people
both now and forevermore.
3 The scepter(E) of the wicked will not remain(F)
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.(G)
4 Lord, do good(H) to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.(I)
5 But those who turn(J) to crooked ways(K)
the Lord will banish(L) with the evildoers.

125 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
