فەرمایشتێک سەبارەت بە چیاکانی ئیسرائیل
6 هەروەها فەرمایشتی یەزدانم بۆ هات، پێی فەرمووم: 2 «ئەی کوڕی مرۆڤ، ڕووت لە چیاکانی ئیسرائیل بکە و لەسەری پێشبینی بکە. 3 بڵێ: ”ئەی چیاکانی ئیسرائیل گوێ لە فەرمایشتی یەزدانی باڵادەست بگرن. یەزدانی باڵادەست بە چیاکان و بە گردەکان، بە شیوەکان و بە دۆڵەکان ئەمە دەفەرموێت: من خەریکم شمشێرێکتان بەسەردا دەهێنم و نزرگەکانی سەر بەرزاییەکانتان لەناودەبەم. 4 جا قوربانگاکانتان وێران دەبن و قوربانگاکانی بخوورتان دەشکێن و کوژراوەکانتان فڕێدەدەمە بەردەم بتەکانتان. 5 لاشەکانی نەوەی ئیسرائیل لەبەردەم بتەکانیان دادەنێم و ئێسکەکانتان لە دەوری قوربانگاکانتان بڵاو دەکەمەوە. 6 لە هەموو نشینگەکانتان شارۆچکەکان چۆڵ دەبن، نزرگەکانی سەر بەرزاییەکان کاول دەبن بۆ ئەوەی قوربانگاکانتان چۆڵ و وێران بن، بتەکانیشتان دەشکێن و نامێنن، قوربانگاکانی خۆرتان دەبڕێنەوە، دروستکراوەکانتان دەسڕێنەوە. 7 خەڵکانێک لەنێوتان دەکوژرێن، ئیتر ئێوە دەزانن کە من یەزدانم.
8 «”لەگەڵ ئەوەشدا پاشماوەتان لێ دەهێڵمەوە، کاتێک لەنێو خاک و نەتەوەکاندا پەرتەوازە دەبن و لە شمشێر دەرباز دەبن. 9 دەربازبووانی ئەوان لەنێو ئەو نەتەوانەی بۆیان ڕاپێچ کرابوون یادم دەکەنەوە و دێتەوە یادیان کە چۆن بەهۆی دڵە سۆزانییەکەیان و چاویان کە ئارەزووی بتیان دەکرد و بەهۆی بێوەفاییان بەرامبەر بە من دڵیان شکاندم. ئەو کاتە ڕقیان لە خۆیان دەبێتەوە لەبەر ئەو خراپەی کردوویانە و لەبەر هەموو نەریتە قێزەونەکانیان. 10 ئیتر ئەوان دەزانن کە من یەزدانم، لەخۆڕایی نەمفەرموو کە ئەم کارەساتەیان بەسەردا دەهێنم.
11 «”یەزدانی باڵادەست ئەمە دەفەرموێت: بە دەستت لێ بدە و بە پێیەکانت بکوتە و بڵێ، ’ئای بە داخەوە!‘ لەبەر هەموو ئەو نەریتە خراپ و قێزەونانەی بنەماڵەی ئیسرائیل، کە بەهۆیەوە بە شمشێر و قاتوقڕی و دەرد دەمرن. 12 ئەوەی دوورە بە دەرد دەمرێت و ئەوەی نزیکە بە شمشێر دەکوژرێت و ئەوەی دەمێنێتەوە و پارێزراوە بە قاتوقڕی دەمرێت. جا تووڕەییم بەسەریاندا هەڵدەڕێژم. 13 ئیتر ئەوان دەزانن کە من یەزدانم، کاتێک کوژراوەکانیان لەنێو بتەکانیان لە چواردەوری قوربانگاکانیان دەکەون، لەسەر هەموو گردێکی بەرز، لەسەر لووتکەی هەموو چیاکان، لەژێر هەموو دارێکی سەوز و دار بەڕووێکی گەڵادار، لە هەر شوێنێک بخووری بۆنخۆشیان پێشکەش بە بتەکانیان دەکرد. 14 دەستم بۆیان درێژ دەکەم و خاکەکە چۆڵ و کاول دەکەم، لە چۆڵەوانییەوە هەتا دیڤلە، لە هەموو نشینگەکانیان. ئیتر ئەوان دەزانن کە من یەزدانم.“»

Doom for the Mountains of Israel
6 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face(A) against the mountains(B) of Israel; prophesy against them(C) 3 and say: ‘You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys:(D) I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.(E) 4 Your altars will be demolished and your incense altars(F) will be smashed; and I will slay your people in front of your idols.(G) 5 I will lay the dead bodies of the Israelites in front of their idols, and I will scatter your bones(H) around your altars.(I) 6 Wherever you live,(J) the towns will be laid waste and the high places(K) demolished, so that your altars will be laid waste and devastated, your idols(L) smashed and ruined, your incense altars(M) broken down, and what you have made wiped out.(N) 7 Your people will fall slain(O) among you, and you will know that I am the Lord.(P)
8 “‘But I will spare some, for some of you will escape(Q) the sword when you are scattered among the lands and nations.(R) 9 Then in the nations where they have been carried captive, those who escape will remember(S) me—how I have been grieved(T) by their adulterous hearts, which have turned away from me, and by their eyes, which have lusted after their idols.(U) They will loathe themselves for the evil(V) they have done and for all their detestable practices.(W) 10 And they will know that I am the Lord;(X) I did not threaten in vain to bring this calamity on them.(Y)
11 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Strike your hands together and stamp your feet and cry out “Alas!” because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the people of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague.(Z) 12 One who is far away will die of the plague, and one who is near will fall by the sword, and anyone who survives and is spared will die of famine. So will I pour out my wrath(AA) on them.(AB) 13 And they will know that I am the Lord, when their people lie slain among their idols(AC) around their altars, on every high hill and on all the mountaintops, under every spreading tree and every leafy oak(AD)—places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols.(AE) 14 And I will stretch out my hand(AF) against them and make the land a desolate waste from the desert to Diblah[a]—wherever they live. Then they will know that I am the Lord.(AG)’”

6 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
5 And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
6 In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10 And they shall know that I am the Lord, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
11 Thus saith the Lord God; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
13 Then shall ye know that I am the Lord, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
14 So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
