5 Thou shalt not [a]bow down to them, neither serve them: for I am the Lord thy God, a [b]jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third generation and upon the fourth of them that hate me:
6 And showing mercy unto [c]thousands to them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 (A)Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in [d]vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his Name in vain.
