Numbers 14:23-25

New International Version

²³ not one of them will ever see the land I promised on oath^(A) to their ancestors. No one who has treated me with contempt^(B) will ever see it.^{(C) 24} But because my servant Caleb^(D) has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly,^(E) I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.^{(F) 25} Since the Amalekites^(G) and the Canaanites^(H) are living in the valleys, turn^(I) back tomorrow and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea.^[a](J)”
