²³ For all his days, his work is pain and grief. Even at night his mind does not rest. This also is futility.

²⁴ There is nothing better for people than to eat and drink, and to find enjoyment in their labor. This too, I perceived, is from the hand of God. ²⁵ For who can eat and who can have joy, apart from Him?
