Acts 23:11-13

¹¹ The next night the Lord came and stood by Paul. He said, “Be brave [or Don’t be afraid; Rest assured]! [^LFor just as] You have ·told [testified to] people in Jerusalem about me. You must ·do the same [^Ltestify to me] in Rome.”

¹² In the morning ·some of Paul’s Jewish opponents [^Lthe Jews] ·made a plan [entered a conspiracy] to kill Paul, and they took an oath not to eat or drink anything until they had killed him. ¹³ There were more than forty men who ·made this plan [formed this conspiracy].
