Zephaniah 2:12
“Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by My sword.”
Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword.
“You also, O Ethiopians, will be slain by My sword.”
You Ethiopians also, you shall be slain by My sword.
¶ Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword.
You Cushites will also be slain by my sword.
Moreover, you too, Cushites, will be pierced by my sword.
“You too, Ethiopians, will be put to death by my sword.”
People of Ethiopia, the sword of the Lord will slaughter you!
Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be the slain of my sword.
You Ethiopians, also shall be slain with my sword.
People of Ethiopia, this even means you! The Lord’s sword will kill your people.
‘I will also punish you people in the country called Ethiopia. Other people will kill you with a big knife,’ the Lord says.
You Cushites, you also will die by my sword.
You also, O Cushites, shall be slain by my sword.
You also, O Cushites, shall be slain by my sword.
“You ·Cushites [Ethiopians] also will be ·killed [slain] by my sword.”
Ye Morians also shall be slain by my sword with them.
“Even you, the people from Sudan, you will also die by my sword.”
The Lord will also put the people of Ethiopia to death.
You Cushites will also be slain by My sword.
“You Cushites also will be killed by my sword.”
“Now as for you, Cush, you will surely be slain by my sword!
¶ Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword.
Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword.
Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword.
“You also, O Ethiopians, will be slain by My sword.”
You also, O Cushites, they shall be killed by my sword.
You Ethiopians, too, will be slain by his sword,
“I’ve heard the crude taunts of Moab, the mockeries flung by Ammon, The cruel talk they’ve used to put down my people, their self-important strutting along Israel’s borders. Therefore, as sure as I am the living God,” says God-of-the-Angel-Armies, Israel’s personal God, “Moab will become a ruin like Sodom, Ammon a ghost town like Gomorrah, One a field of rocks, the other a sterile salt flat, a moonscape forever. What’s left of my people will finish them off, will pick them clean and take over. This is what they get for their bloated pride, their taunts and mockeries of the people of God-of-the-Angel-Armies. God will be seen as truly terrible—a Holy Terror. All earth-made gods will shrivel up and blow away; And everyone, wherever they are, far or near, will fall to the ground and worship him. Also you Ethiopians, you, too, will die—I’ll see to it.” * * *
You also, O Ethiopians, will be slain by My sword.
“Even you, the people from Sudan, you will also die by my sword.”
You too, O Cushites, shall be slain by the sword of the Lord.
“You also, Ethiopians, will be slain by My sword.”
“You also, O Ethiopians, will be slain by My sword.”
You also, O Ethiopians, will be killed by the sword of the Lord.
“You Cushites also will be killed by my sword.”
“You Ethiopians will also die by my sword!”
The Lord says, “People of Cush, you too will die by my sword.”
“You Cushites, too, will be slain by my sword.”
‘You Cushites, too, will be slain by my sword.’
“You Ethiopians also, You shall be slain by My sword.”
“You also, O Ethiopians, will be killed by My sword.”
“You Ethiopians will also be slaughtered by my sword,” says the Lord.
You also, O Ethiopians, shall be killed by my sword.
You also, O Ethiopians, shall be killed by my sword.
You also, O Ethiopians, shall be killed by my sword.
You also, O Cushites, shall be killed by my sword.
Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by My cherev.
You also, O Ethiopians, shall be slain by my sword.
You also, O Ethiopians, shall be slain by my sword.
You Ethiopians too will be slain by My sword.
Eternal One: As for you, Ethiopia to the south, you will die by My sword.
You Cushites also, you will be killed by my sword.
But and ye, Ethiopians, shall be slain by my sword. (And ye Ethiopians shall also be killed by my sword.)
Also ye, O Cushim, pierced of My sword [are] they.
