thus making the Word of God of no effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered. And many like things do ye.”
making void the word of God by your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do.
so you nullify the [authority of the] word of God [acting as if it did not apply] because of your tradition which you have handed down [through the elders]. And you do many things such as that.”
Thus you are nullifying and making void and of no effect [the authority of] the Word of God through your tradition, which you [in turn] hand on. And many things of this kind you are doing.
Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
You nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many other similar things.”
In this way you do away with God’s word in favor of the rules handed down to you, which you pass on to others. And you do a lot of other things just like that.”
Thus, with your tradition which you had handed down to you, you nullify the Word of God! And you do other things like this.”
And you ignore God's commands in order to follow your own teaching. You do a lot of other things just as bad.
making void the word of God by your traditional teaching which ye have delivered; and many such like things ye do.
nullifying the word of God by your tradition which you handed-down. And you are doing many similar such things”.
Making void the word of God by your own tradition, which you have given forth. And many other such like things you do.
So you are teaching that it is not important to do what God said. You think it is more important to follow those traditions you have, which you pass on to others. And you do many things like that.”
This shows that you have not obeyed what God says is right. Instead, you have obeyed the ideas that you received from your leaders many years ago. And you do many other things like that.’
So you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. You do many things like that.”

By your own ·rules [tradition], which you ·teach people [have handed down], you are ·rejecting [nullifying; canceling] what God said. And you do many things like that.”
Making the word of God of none authority, by your tradition which ye have ordained: and ye do many such like things.
Because of your traditions you have destroyed the authority of God’s word. And you do many other things like that.”
In this way the teaching you pass on to others cancels out the word of God. And there are many other things like this that you do.”
You revoke God’s word by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many other similar things.”
So you are teaching that it is not important to do what God said. You think that it is more important to follow your own rules, which you teach people. And you do many things like that.”
You are destroying the word of God through your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many other things like that.”
Then he went on, “It is wonderful to see how you can set aside the commandment of God to preserve your own tradition! For Moses said, ‘Honour your father and your mother’ and ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death’. But you say, ‘if a man says to his father or his mother, Korban—meaning, I have given God whatever duty I owed to you’, then he need not lift a finger any longer for his father or mother, so making the word of God invalid for the sake of the tradition which you hold. And this is typical of much of what you do.”

And so you break the law of God in order to protect your man-made tradition. And this is only one example. There are many, many others.”
He went on, “Well, good for you. You get rid of God’s command so you won’t be inconvenienced in following the religious fashions! Moses said, ‘Respect your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone denouncing father or mother should be killed.’ But you weasel out of that by saying that it’s perfectly acceptable to say to father or mother, ‘Gift! What I owed you I’ve given as a gift to God,’ thus relieving yourselves of obligation to father or mother. You scratch out God’s Word and scrawl a whim in its place. You do a lot of things like this.”

You are putting away the Word of God to keep your own teaching. You are doing many other things like this.”
And so you cancel the word of God in order to hand down your own tradition. And this is only one example among many others.”

The net result is that you invalidate God’s word through this tradition which you hand on. And there are lots more things like that which you do.”
You nullify and make void the dvar Hashem by means of your Masoret you received. And you do many similar things.

Do you think God wants you to honor your traditions that you have passed down? This is only one of many places where you are blind.

You make God's law to mean nothing so that you can keep your own laws. You do many other things like that also.'
and ye break the word of God by your tradition, that ye have given; and ye do many [other] such things.
setting aside the word of God for your tradition that ye delivered; and many such like things ye do.'
