I have seen the foolish taking root, but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
I have seen the foolish taking root: But suddenly I cursed his habitation.
“I have seen the foolish taking root [and outwardly prospering], But I cursed his dwelling immediately [for his destruction was certain].
I have seen the foolish taking root [and outwardly prospering], but suddenly I saw that his dwelling was cursed [for his doom was certain].
I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
I have seen a fool taking root, but I immediately pronounced a curse on his home.
I’ve seen the foolish take root and promptly curse their house.
I watch as a fool establishes roots, but I curse his home with sudden [destruction] —
I have seen fools take root. But God sends a curse, suddenly uprooting them
I myself saw the foolish taking root, but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
I have seen a fool with a strong root, and I cursed his beauty immediately.
I saw a fool who thought he was safe, but suddenly he died.
I have seen fools who seemed to be successful. But suddenly a curse destroyed their homes.
I myself have seen a fool putting down roots, but immediately I pronounced a curse on his home.
I have seen the fool taking root, but suddenly I cursed his dwelling.
I have seen the fool taking root, but suddenly I cursed his dwelling.
I have seen a fool ·succeed [L taking root], but I cursed his ·home [household; pasturage] ·immediately [suddenly].
I have seen the foolish well rooted, and suddenly I cursed his habitation, saying,
I have seen a stubborn fool take root, but I quickly cursed his house.
I have seen fools who looked secure, but I called down a sudden curse on their homes.
I have seen a fool taking root, but I immediately pronounced a curse on his home.
I have seen a fool have success like a tree taking root. But suddenly his home was destroyed.
“I myself saw a fool becoming established, but I suddenly cursed where he lived.
I have seen the foolish taking root, but at the same time I cursed his habitation.
I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
I have seen the ignorant fool taking root, And I cursed his abode suddenly.
I have seen a fool taking root, but suddenly I cursed his dwelling.
Those who turn from God may be successful for the moment, but then comes sudden disaster.
“Call for help, Job, if you think anyone will answer! To which of the holy angels will you turn? The hot temper of a fool eventually kills him, the jealous anger of an idiot does her in. I’ve seen it myself—seen fools putting down roots, and then, suddenly, their houses are cursed. Their children out in the cold, abused and exploited, with no one to stick up for them. Hungry people off the street plunder their harvests, cleaning them out completely, taking thorns and all, insatiable for everything they have. Don’t blame fate when things go wrong— trouble doesn’t come from nowhere. It’s human! Mortals are born and bred for trouble, as certainly as sparks fly upward.
Yes, I saw the foolish taking root, and quickly I cursed his dwelling.
I have seen a stubborn fool take root, but I quickly cursed his house.
I have seen a fool spreading his roots, but I cursed his household suddenly:
I have seen the fool taking root, And I cursed his home immediately.
“I have seen the foolish taking root, And I cursed his abode immediately.
I have seen a fool enjoy success for a time, but suddenly his house was cursed.
I have seen a fool succeed, but I cursed his home immediately.
I myself have seen the fool taking root, but suddenly I cursed his place of residence.
I saw that foolish people were having success. But suddenly harm came to their homes.
I myself have seen a fool taking root, but suddenly his house was cursed.
I myself have seen a fool taking root, but suddenly his house was cursed.
I have seen the foolish taking root, But suddenly I cursed his dwelling place.
I have seen the fool taking root, but right away his house was cursed.
I have seen that fools may be successful for the moment, but then comes sudden disaster.
I have seen fools taking root, but suddenly I cursed their dwelling.

I have seen a fool putting down roots, apparently succeeding, and immediately I cursed his house, knowing this brings destruction.
I have seen the foolish taking root, but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
I saw a fool with [a] steadfast root, and I cursed his fairness anon (and at once I cursed his dwelling place).
