Isaiah 8:6

“Inasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that flow softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son,
Forasmuch as this people have refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
“Because these people (Judah) have refused the gently flowing waters of Shiloah And rejoice in Rezin [the king of Aram] and Remaliah’s son [Pekah the king of Israel],
Because this people [Israel and Judah] have refused and despised the waters of Shiloah [Siloam, the only perennial fountain of Jerusalem, and symbolic of God’s protection and sustaining power] that go gently, and rejoice in and with Rezin [the king of Syria] and Remaliah’s son [Pekah the king of Israel],
Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
Because these people rejected the slowly flowing water of Shiloah and rejoiced with Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
Since this people has rejected the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and instead rejoices over Rezin and Remaliah’s son—
“Since this people has rejected the gently flowing waters from Shilo’ach and takes joy in Retzin and the son of Remalyah;
These people have refused the gentle waters of Shiloah and have gladly gone over to the side of King Rezin and King Pekah.
Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah which flow softly, and rejoiceth in Rezin and in the son of Remaliah,
Forasmuch as this people hath cast away the waters of Siloe, that go with silence, and hath rather taken Basin, and the son of Romelia:
He said, “These people refuse to accept the slow-moving waters of Shiloah. They prefer Rezin and Remaliah’s son.”
He said, ‘I have blessed my people, like the quiet stream of Shiloah. But they have not accepted my help. Instead, they are happy that King Rezin and Remaliah's son will help them.
Because these people have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah, and they rejoice in Rezin and in Remaliah’s son,
“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and rejoice over Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and rejoice over Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
[L Because] These people refuse to accept the ·slow-moving [gently flowing] waters of the pool of Shiloah [C probably the stream flowing from the Gihon Spring to the Pool of Siloam (John 9:7); God’s gentle influence is contrasted with the “flood” of the Assyrian invasion; v. 7] and ·are terrified of [or rejoice over] Rezin and the son of Remaliah [C Pekah; 7:1, 4–5].
Because this people hath refused the waters of Shiloah that run softly, and rejoice with Rezin, and the son of Remaliah,
“These people have rejected the gently flowing water of Shiloah and find joy in Rezin and Remaliah’s son.”
He said, “Because these people have rejected the quiet waters of Shiloah Brook and tremble before King Rezin and King Pekah,
Because these people rejected the slowly flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoiced with Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
He said, “These people refuse to accept the slow-moving waters of the pool of Shiloah. These people are terrified of Rezin and Remaliah’s son Pekah.
“Because this people have rejected the gently-flowing waters of Shiloah, and because they keep rejoicing in Rezin and Remaliah’s son,
Forasmuch as this people refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly and rejoiced in Rezin and Remaliah’s son,
Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;
Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
“Inasmuch as these people have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah And rejoice in Rezin and the son of Remaliah;
“Because this people has refused the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices over Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
“Since the people of Jerusalem are planning to refuse my gentle care and are enthusiastic about asking King Rezin and King Pekah to come and aid them,
God spoke to me again, saying: “Because this people has turned its back on the gently flowing stream of Shiloah And gotten all excited over Rezin and the son of Remaliah, I’m stepping in and facing them with the wild floodwaters of the Euphrates, The king of Assyria and all his fanfare, a river in flood, bursting its banks, Pouring into Judah, sweeping everything before it, water up to your necks, A huge wingspan of a raging river, O Immanuel, spreading across your land.” * * *
Because this people refuses the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices in Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
“These people have rejected the gently flowing water of Shiloah and find joy in Rezin and Remaliah’s son.”
Because this people has rejected the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, And melts with fear at the display of Rezin and Remaliah’s son,
“Inasmuch as these people have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah And rejoice in Rezin and the son of Remaliah;
“Inasmuch as these people have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah And rejoice in Rezin and the son of Remaliah;
Because this people has rejected the waters of Shiloah that flow gently and trembled in fear before Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
“These people refuse to accept the slow-moving waters of the pool of Shiloah and are terrified of Rezin and Pekah son of Remaliah.
“These people have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and melt in fear over Rezin and the son of Remaliah.
“I am like the gently flowing stream of Siloam. But the people of Judah have turned their backs on me. They are filled with joy because of the fall of Rezin and the son of Remaliah.
“Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices over Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
‘Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices over Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
“Inasmuch as these people refused The waters of Shiloah that flow softly, And rejoice in Rezin and in Remaliah’s son;
“These people have turned away from the gentle, flowing waters of Shiloah, and find joy in Rezin and the son of Remaliah.
“My care for the people of Judah is like the gently flowing waters of Shiloah, but they have rejected it. They are rejoicing over what will happen to King Rezin and King Pekah.
Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and melt in fear before Rezin and the son of Remaliah;
Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and melt in fear before Rezin and the son of Remaliah;
Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and melt in fear before Rezin and the son of Remaliah;
“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently and melt in fear before Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
Forasmuch as HaAm HaZeh refuseth the waters of Shiloah that flow softly, and delight in [alliance with] Retzin and Ben Remalyahu;
“Because this people have refused the waters of Shilo′ah that flow gently, and melt in fear before Rezin and the son of Remali′ah;
“Because this people have refused the waters of Shilo′ah that flow gently, and melt in fear before Rezin and the son of Remali′ah;
“Because these people have refused the softly flowing waters of Shiloah, and rejoice with Rezin and Remaliah’s son,
Eternal One: This disaster will happen because this people have rejected the stream of Shiloah that flows gently to Zion. Instead they rejoice over Rezin and Remaliah’s son.
“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
For that thing that this people hath cast away the waters of Shiloah, that go with silence (that flow silently), and hath taken more [to] Rezin, and the son of Remaliah,
`Because that this people hath refused The waters of Shiloah that go softly, And is rejoicing with Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
