Isaiah 29:21

who make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
that make a man an offender in his cause, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just with a thing of nought.
Those who cause a person to be condemned with a [false] word, And lay a trap for him who upholds justice at the [city] gate, And defraud the one in the right with meaningless arguments.
Those who make a man an offender and bring condemnation upon him with a word, and lay a trap for him who upholds justice at the city gate, and thrust aside the innocent and truly righteous with an empty plea.
That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
those who, with their speech, accuse a person of wrongdoing, who set a trap for the one mediating at the city gate and without cause deprive the righteous of justice.
all who incriminate others wrongly, who entrap the judge in the gate, and pointlessly postpone justice for the innocent.
those whose words make a man out to be a sinner, those who set traps for the arbitrator at the city gate, and those who groundlessly deny justice to the one in the right.
together with everyone who tells lies in court and keeps innocent people from getting a fair trial.
that make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and pervert [the judgment of] the righteous by futility.
That made men sin by word, and supplanted him that reproved them in the gate, and declined in vain from the just.
(They lie about good people. They try to trap people in court. They try to destroy innocent people.)
It will be the same for people who tell lies in court. They deceive the judge at the city gate. They say false things against good people to make them guilty. People who are like that will have gone!
all those who slander others with a word, all those who argue cases at the city gate, all those who use false testimony to deprive the innocent of justice.
who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right.
who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right.
those who ·lie about others in court [bear false testimony; L make a person a sinner with a word], those who trap ·people in court [L the arbiter at the city gate], those who ·lie and [with false charges/testimony] take justice from innocent people in court.
Which made a man to sin in the word, and took him in a snare: which reproved them in the gate, and made the just to fall without cause.
those who make people sin with words, those who lay traps for judges, those who, without any reason, deny justice to people who are in the right.
God will destroy those who slander others, those who prevent the punishment of criminals, and those who tell lies to keep honest people from getting justice.
those who, with their speech, accuse a person of wrongdoing, who set a trap at the gate for the mediator, and without cause deprive the righteous of justice.
Those who lie about others in court will be gone. Those who trap people in court will be gone. Those who lie and take justice from innocent people in court will be gone.
those who make a person appear to be the offender in a lawsuit, who set a trap for someone who is making his defense in court, and push aside the innocent with specious arguments.
Those that made men to sin in word; those that laid a snare for him that reproved in the gate, and turned that which is just into vanity.
That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
that make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
Who cause a person to sin by a word, And ensnare him who reproves at the gate, And defraud the one in the right with meaningless arguments.
those who mislead a person into sin with a word and set a trap for the arbitrator in the gate and guide away the righteous by emptiness.
the violent man who fights at the drop of a hat, the man who waits in hiding to beat up the judge who sentenced him, and the men who use any excuse to be unfair.
And then before you know it, and without you having anything to do with it, Wasted Lebanon will be transformed into lush gardens, and Mount Carmel reforested. At that time the deaf will hear word-for-word what’s been written. After a lifetime in the dark, the blind will see. The castoffs of society will be laughing and dancing in God, the down-and-outs shouting praise to The Holy of Israel. For there’ll be no more gangs on the street. Cynical scoffers will be an extinct species. Those who never missed a chance to hurt or demean will never be heard of again: Gone the people who corrupted the courts, gone the people who cheated the poor, gone the people who victimized the innocent.
those who cause a man to be indicted by a word, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and turn aside the righteous with meaningless arguments.
those who make people sin with words, those who lay traps for judges, those who, without any reason, deny justice to people who are in the right.
those who condemn with a mere word, Who ensnare the defender at the gate, and leave the just with an empty claim.
Who cause a person to be indicted by a word, And set a trap for the arbitrator at the gate, And defraud the one in the right with meaningless arguments.
Who cause a person to be indicted by a word, And ensnare him who adjudicates at the gate, And defraud the one in the right with meaningless arguments.
those whose lies cause a man to be judged guilty, those who set traps to capture just arbiters and thereby deprive the innocent from being granted justice.
those who lie about others in court, those who trap people in court, those who lie and take justice from innocent people in court.
those who bear false testimony against a person, who entrap the one who arbitrates at the city gate and deprive the innocent of justice by making false charges.
Without any proof, they claim that a person is guilty. In court they try to trap the one who speaks up for others. By using dishonest witnesses they keep people who aren’t guilty from being treated fairly.
those who with a word make someone out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice.
those who with a word make someone out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice.
Who make a man an offender by a word, And lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, And turn aside the just by empty words.
Those who say something to make a man seem to be in the wrong, and who trap the one who acts as a judge at the gate, and who tell lies to cause a good man to be punished, will be cut off.
Those who convict the innocent by their false testimony will disappear. A similar fate awaits those who use trickery to pervert justice and who tell lies to destroy the innocent.
those who cause a person to lose a lawsuit, who set a trap for the arbiter in the gate, and without grounds deny justice to the one in the right.
those who cause a person to lose a lawsuit, who set a trap for the arbiter in the gate, and without grounds deny justice to the one in the right.
those who cause a person to lose a lawsuit, who set a trap for the arbiter in the gate, and without grounds deny justice to the one in the right.
those who cause a person to lose a lawsuit, who set a trap for the arbiter in the gate and undermine justice for the one in the right.
That make an adam an offender with a devar, and lay a snare for the mokhiach (reprover, defender) in the sha’ar (gate, court), and turn aside the tzaddik from justice.
who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right.
who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right.
Those who make a man out to be guilty with a word, and trap him who reproves at the gate, and deny justice with meaninglessness.
Those who level a false charge against an innocent person, who twist an honest testimony and tell lies in order to incriminate the innocent, will be stopped.
who cause a person to be indicted by a word, and lay a snare for one who reproves in the gate, and who deprive the innocent of justice with false testimony.
which made men to do sin in word, and deceived a reprover in the gate, and bowed away in vain from a just man. (who made people to do sin in word, and deceived a rebuker at the gate, and bowed away justice from the upright, for an empty and a futile thing.)
Causing men to sin in word, And for a reprover in the gate lay a snare, And turn aside into emptiness the righteous.
