Then fourteen years later I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
Then after the space of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.
Then after a period of fourteen years I again went up to Jerusalem, [this time] with Barnabas, taking Titus along also.
Then after [an interval] of fourteen years I again went up to Jerusalem. [This time I went] with Barnabas, taking Titus along with [me] also.
Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along also.

Fourteen years later I went to Jerusalem with Barnabas. I also took along Titus.
Then after a lapse of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with [me];
Then after fourteen years I again went up to Jerusalem with Barnabas, having also taken along Titus with me.
Then, after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.
After 14 years I went back to Jerusalem with Barnabas and took Titus with me.
14 years later, I went to Jerusalem again. This time I went with Barnabas, and I also took Titus with me.
Then, after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, also taking Titus with me.
Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me.
Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me.
[L Then] After fourteen years I went to Jerusalem again, this time with Barnabas [Acts 4:36; 9:26–27; 11:22, 25, 30; 13:2–4; 15:36–39]. I also took Titus [2 Cor. 2:13; Titus 1:4–5] with me.
1 That the Apostles did nothing disagree from his Gospel, 3 he declareth by the example of Titus being uncircumcised, 11 and also by his . . . the same against Peter’s dissimulation. 17 And so he passeth to the handling of our free justification by Christ, etc. Then fourteen years after, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took with me Titus also.
Then 14 years later I went to Jerusalem again with Barnabas. I also took Titus along.
Fourteen years later I went back to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me.

After 14 years, I went to Jerusalem again, this time with Barnabas. I also took Titus with me.
Then fourteen years later, I again went up to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus with me.
Fourteen years later, I went up to Jerusalem again, this time with Barnabas, and we took Titus with us. My visit on this occasion was by divine command, and I gave a full exposition of the Gospel which I preach among the Gentiles. I did this first in private conference with the church leaders, to make sure that what I had done and proposed doing was acceptable to them. Not one of them intimated that Titus, because he was a Greek, ought to be circumcised. In fact, the suggestion would never have arisen but for the presence of some pseudo-Christians, who wormed their way into our meeting to spy on the liberty we enjoy in Jesus Christ, and then attempted to tie us up with rules and regulations. We did not give those men an inch, for the truth of the Gospel for you and all Gentiles was at stake. And as far as the leaders of the conference were concerned (I neither know nor care what their exact position was: God is not impressed with a man’s office), they had nothing to add to my Gospel. In fact they recognised that the Gospel for the uncircumcised was as much my commission as the Gospel for the circumcised was Peter’s. For the God who had done such great work in Peter’s ministry for the Jews was plainly doing the same in my ministry for the Gentiles. When, therefore, James, Peter and John (who were the recognised “pillars” of the church there) saw how God had given me his grace, they held out to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, in full agreement that our mission was to the Gentiles and theirs to the Jews. The only suggestion they made was that we should not forget the poor—and with this I was, of course, only too ready to agree.

Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking along Titus also.
Then fourteen years later I went back to Jerusalem again, this time with Barnabas; and Titus came along too.
Fourteen years after that first visit, Barnabas and I went up to Jerusalem and took Titus with us. I went to clarify with them what had been revealed to me. At that time I placed before them exactly what I was preaching to the non-Jews. I did this in private with the leaders, those held in esteem by the church, so that our concern would not become a controversial public issue, marred by ethnic tensions, exposing my years of work to denigration and endangering my present ministry. Significantly, Titus, non-Jewish though he was, was not required to be circumcised. While we were in conference we were infiltrated by spies pretending to be Christians, who slipped in to find out just how free true Christians are. Their ulterior motive was to reduce us to their brand of servitude. We didn’t give them the time of day. We were determined to preserve the truth of the Message for you.

Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus with me.
As a result of a revelation, I returned to Jerusalem 14 years later; and this time Barnabas and Titus accompanied me. When I arrived, I shared the exact gospel that I preach to the outsiders. I first shared God’s truth privately with those who were people of influence and leadership because I thought if they did not embrace the freedom of my good news, then any work I had done for Jesus here and any in the past would be spoiled.
Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.
Fourteen years later I went to Jerusalem again. This time I went with Barnabas and I took Titus with me.
