And Mordecai came again to the king’s gate. But Haman hastened to his house, mourning and having his head covered.

Then Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his [own] house, mourning and with his head covered [in sorrow].

Then Mordecai returned to the King’s Gate, but Haman hurried off for home, mournful and with his head covered.
Afterward, Mordecai returned to the King’s Gate, while Haman hurried home feeling great shame, his head covered.
Then Mordekhai returned to the King’s Gate; but Haman rushed home with his head covered in mourning.

And Mordecai came again to the king's gate. But Haman hasted to his house, mourning and having his head covered.
But Mardochai returned to the palace gate: and Aman made haste to go to his house, mourning and having his head covered:
After that Mordecai went back to the king’s gate, but Haman hurried home with his head covered because he was embarrassed and ashamed.
After this, Mordecai returned to sit at the king's gate. But Haman hurried back home. He covered his face because he was ashamed and upset.

Then Mordecai returned to the King’s Gate, but Haman, overwhelmed, hurried off for home with his head covered.
Then Mordecai went back to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried home with his head covered. He was embarrassed and ashamed.
Then Mordecai returned to the king’s gate, while Haman hurried to his house, mourning and hiding his face.
¶ After that Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. But Haman hastened to his house mourning and having his head covered.

Afterwards Mordecai returned to his job, but Haman hurried home utterly humiliated.
Then Mordecai returned to the King’s Gate, but Haman fled to his house, thoroughly mortified, hiding his face. When Haman had finished telling his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his knowledgeable friends who were there and his wife Zeresh said, “If this Mordecai is in fact a Jew, your bad luck has only begun. You don’t stand a chance against him—you’re as good as ruined.”

Then Mordecai again sat at the king’s gate, while Haman hurried away to his home, mournful and with a veil over his head.
After that, Mordecai returned to the palace gate. But Haman rushed home. He covered his head because he was very sad.

And after this Mordecai turned again to the gate of the palace, and Haman hasted to go into his house, mourning, and with his head covered. (And after this Mordecai returned to the royal court, and Haman hastened to go to his house, mourning, and with his head covered.)
And Mordecai turneth back unto the gate of the king, and Haman hath been hastened unto his house mourning, and with covered head,
