The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains;
The Lord grant mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus: for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain;
The Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and showed me kindness [comforting and reviving me like fresh air] and he was not ashamed of my chains [for Christ’s sake];
May the Lord grant [His] mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, for he often showed me kindness and ministered to my needs [comforting and reviving and bracing me like fresh air]! He was not ashamed of my chains and imprisonment [for Christ’s sake].
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
May the Lord show mercy to Onesiphorus’ household, because he supported me many times and he wasn’t ashamed of my imprisonment.
May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he was often a comfort to me and was not ashamed of my being in prison.
I pray that the Lord will be kind to the family of Onesiphorus. He often cheered me up and wasn't ashamed of me when I was put in jail.
The Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he has often refreshed me, and has not been ashamed of my chain;
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed-of my chain,
The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus: because he hath often refreshed me, and hath not been ashamed of my chain:
I pray that the Lord will show mercy to the family of Onesiphorus. Many times Onesiphorus encouraged me. He was not ashamed that I was in prison.
But Onesiphorus has stayed to help me. I pray that the Lord will be kind to his family. He often came to help me not to be sad. I am in prison, but he was not ashamed to help me.
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he refreshed me many times and was not ashamed of my chains.
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains,
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains,
May the Lord show ·mercy [kindness] to the family of Onesiphorus [4:20; C the reference to the “family” rather than the man may indicate that Onesiphorus has since died], who has often ·helped [encouraged; refreshed] me and was not ashamed ·that I was in prison [L of my chains].
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus: for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain,
May the Lord be merciful to the family of Onesiphorus. He often took care of my needs and wasn’t ashamed that I was a prisoner.
May the Lord show mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he cheered me up many times. He was not ashamed that I am in prison,
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
I pray that the Lord will show mercy to the family of Onesiphorus. He has often helped me and was not ashamed that I was in prison.
May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, for he often took care of me and was not ashamed that I was a prisoner.
You will know, I expect, that all those who were in Asia have turned against me, Phygelus and Hermogenes among them. But may the Lord have mercy on the household of Onesiphorus. Many times did that man put fresh heart into me, and he was not in the least ashamed of my being a prisoner in chains. Indeed, when he was in Rome he went to a great deal of trouble to find me—may the Lord grant he finds his mercy in that day!—and you well know in how many ways he helped me at Ephesus as well.
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain;
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains,
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he refreshed me many times, and was not ashamed of my imprisonment,
May the Lord bless Onesiphorus and all his family because he visited me and encouraged me often. His visits revived me like a breath of fresh air, and he was never ashamed of my being in jail.
I’m sure you know by now that everyone in the province of Asia deserted me, even Phygelus and Hermogenes. But God bless Onesiphorus and his family! Many’s the time I’ve been refreshed in that house. And he wasn’t embarrassed a bit that I was in jail. The first thing he did when he got to Rome was look me up. May God on the Last Day treat him as well as he treated me. And then there was all the help he provided in Ephesus—but you know that better than I.
May the Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for often he refreshed me and was not ashamed of · my chain,
May the Lord be merciful to the family of Onesiphorus. He often took care of my needs and wasn’t ashamed that I was a prisoner.
May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus because he often gave me new heart and was not ashamed of my chains.
The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains;
The Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains;
May the Lord be merciful to the household of Onesiphorus, because he has often been a comfort to me in my troubles, and he has never been ashamed of my chains.
May the Lord show mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, who has often helped me and was not ashamed that I was in prison.
May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my imprisonment.
May the Lord show mercy to all who live in the house of Onesiphorus. He often encouraged me. He was not ashamed that I was being held by chains.
May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain;
Onesiphorus was not ashamed of me in prison. He came often to comfort me. May the Lord show loving-kindness to his family.
May the Lord show special kindness to Onesiphorus and all his family because he often visited and encouraged me. He was never ashamed of me because I was in chains.
May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chains,
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain;
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain;
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain;
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain;
May the Lord give mercy to the household of Onesiphorus; he has often refreshed me. He wasn’t ashamed of my chains,
May Hashem grant rachamim to the bais of Onesiphorus, because often he refreshed me and he was not ashamed of my sharsherot.
May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus. For he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain.
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiph′orus, for he often refreshed me; he was not ashamed of my chains,
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiph′orus, for he often refreshed me; he was not ashamed of my chains,
May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my imprisonment.
But Onesiphorus was not ashamed of my chains. So when he arrived in Rome, he searched for me and found me. May the Lord show mercy to his house because he has often stopped by to refresh my weary soul.
May the Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain,
I hope the Lord will be kind to the family of Onesiphorus. He has often helped me. He has not been ashamed of me in prison.
The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for oft he refreshed me, and shamed not my chain.
may the Lord give kindness to the house of Onesiphorus, because many times he did refresh me, and of my chain was not ashamed,
