but I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name might be there, and have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
but I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there, and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
but I have chosen Jerusalem that My Name might be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
But I have chosen Jerusalem, that My Name [and the symbol of My presence] might be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.
But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
But I have chosen Jerusalem so that my name will be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.”
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as a place for my name, and David as prince over my people Israel.”
But now I have chosen Yerushalayim, so that my name can be there; and I have chosen David to be over my people Isra’el.’
and said: Praise the Lord God of Israel! He brought his people out of Egypt long ago and later kept his promise to make my father David the king of Israel. The Lord also promised him that Jerusalem would be the city where his temple will be built, and now that promise has come true.
but I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
But I chose Jerusalem, that my name might be there: and I chose David to set him over my people Israel.
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as a place for my name, and I have chosen David to lead my people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem to be the place where my people worship me. And I have chosen David to rule Israel, my people, as king.”
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as the place where my Name will be, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.”
but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem ·as the place I am to be worshiped [L for my name to be], and I have chosen David to ·lead [rule] my people Israel.’
But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my Name might be there, and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
But now I’ve chosen Jerusalem to be a place for my name; I’ve chosen David to rule my people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as the place where I will be worshiped, and you, David, to rule my people.’”
But I have chosen Jerusalem so that My name will be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.”
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as the place I am to be worshiped. And I have chosen David to lead my people Israel.’
But I have chosen Jerusalem, where my name will reside. And I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
But I have chosen Jerusalem that my name might be there and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
but I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
but I have chosen Jerusalem that My name might be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
But I have chosen my name to be there in Jerusalem, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
‘I have never before, since bringing my people from the land of Egypt, chosen a city anywhere in Israel as the location of my Temple where my name will be glorified; and never before have I chosen a king for my people Israel. But now I have chosen Jerusalem as that city, and David as that king.’
“Blessed be God, the God of Israel, who spoke personally to my father David. Now he has done what he promised when he said, ‘From the day I brought my people Israel up from Egypt, I haven’t set apart one city among the tribes of Israel in which to build a temple to honor my Name, or chosen one person to be the leader. But now I have chosen both a city and a person: Jerusalem for honoring my Name and David to lead my people Israel.’
but I have chosen Jerusalem for My name to dwell there, and I have selected David to be over My people Israel.’
But now I’ve chosen Jerusalem to be a place for my name; I’ve chosen David to rule my people Israel.’
but now I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.
but I have chosen Jerusalem so that My name might be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
but I have chosen Jerusalem that My name might be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
However, now I have chosen Jerusalem, where I shall be honored, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as the place I am to be worshiped, and I have chosen David to lead my people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as a place to live, and I have chosen David to lead my people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem. I will put my Name there. And I have chosen David to rule over my people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.”
Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
But I have chosen Jerusalem that My name might be there. And I have chosen David to rule My people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as the place for my name to be honored, and I have chosen David to be king over my people Israel.’”
but I have chosen Jerusalem in order that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.”
but I have chosen Jerusalem in order that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.”
but I have chosen Jerusalem in order that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
but I have chosen Jerusalem in order that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
But I chose Yerushalayim, that Shmi might be there; and chose Dovid to be over Ami Yisroel.
but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
But I have chosen Jerusalem that My Name would abide there and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
But now I have chosen Jerusalem as the place where My reputation will be honored and David as the leader of My people, Israel.
but now I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’
but (then) I chose Jerusalem, that my name (would) be therein, and I chose David, to ordain him upon my people Israel.
and I fix on Jerusalem for My name being there, and I fix on David to be over My people Israel.
