And Solomon determined to build a house for the name of the Lord and a house for his kingdom.
Now Solomon purposed to build a house for the name of Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom.
Now Solomon decided to build a house (temple) for the Name of the Lord, and a royal palace for himself.
Solomon determined to build a temple for the Name of the Lord and a royal capitol.

Shlomo enlisted 70,000 men who carried loads, another 80,000 men who were stonecutters in the hills and 3,600 supervising them.
Solomon decided to build a temple where the Lord would be worshiped, and also to build a palace for himself.

Solomon conscripted seventy thousand men to carry stones and eighty thousand to cut the stones in the mountains, and over these he placed three thousand six hundred overseers.

Solomon gave orders to build a temple. That’s where the Lord would put his Name. Solomon also gave orders to build a royal palace for himself.

Having amassed his wealth, Solomon fulfilled God’s prediction that David’s son would build His house. Solomon decided to build a house honoring the reputation of the Eternal, a temple, and a house for himself, a palace.
Now Solomon decided to build a house for Yahweh’s name, and a house for his kingdom.
Forsooth Solomon deemed, or purposed, to build an house to the name of the Lord, and a palace to himself. (And Solomon decided to build a House in honour of the name of the Lord, and a palace for himself.)
