1 Corinthians 11:14

Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
Does not common sense itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,
Does not the native sense of propriety (experience, common sense, reason) itself teach you that for a man to wear long hair is a dishonor [humiliating and degrading] to him,
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it is a disgrace to him,
Doesn’t nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him;
Doesn’t the nature of things itself teach you that a man who wears his hair long degrades himself?
Isn't it unnatural and disgraceful for men to have long hair?
Does not even nature itself teach you, that man, if he have long hair, it is a dishonour to him?
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him—
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that a man indeed, if he nourish his hair, it is a shame unto him?
Even nature itself teaches you that wearing long hair is shameful for a man.
If a man has long hair, that should make him ashamed. That is clear.
Doesn’t the nature of things itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is disgraceful for him,
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him,
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him,
·Even [L Does not…?] ·nature [or custom; culture] itself teaches you that wearing long hair is shameful for a man [C Greco-Roman men normally wore their hair short].
Doth not nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Doesn’t nature itself teach you that it is disgraceful for a man to have long hair?
Why, nature itself teaches you that long hair on a man is a disgrace,
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it is a disgrace to him,
Even nature itself teaches you that wearing long hair is shameful for a man.
Nature itself teaches you neither that it is disgraceful for a man to have long hair
Of course, in the sight of God neither “man” nor “woman” has any separate existence. For if woman was made originally for man, no man is now born except by a woman, and both man and woman, like everything else, owe their existence to God. But use your own judgment, do you think it right and proper for a woman to pray to God bare-headed? Isn’t there a natural principle here, that makes us feel that long hair is disgraceful to a man, but of glorious beauty to a woman? We feel this because the long hair is the cover provided by nature for the woman’s head. But if anyone wants to be argumentative about it, I can only say that we and the churches of God generally hold this ruling on the matter.
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man lets his hair grow, it is dishonest?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,
And does not nature itself teach you that a man, if he wears long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
Doesn’t even instinct itself teach us that women’s heads should be covered? For women are proud of their long hair, while a man with long hair tends to be ashamed.
Don’t you agree there is something naturally powerful in the symbolism—a woman, her beautiful hair reminiscent of angels, praying in adoration; a man, his head bared in reverence, praying in submission? I hope you’re not going to be argumentative about this. All God’s churches see it this way; I don’t want you standing out as an exception.
Does even nature itself not teach you that if a man has long hair it is a shame to him?
Does not · nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace for him,
Doesn’t nature itself teach you that it is disgraceful for a man to have long hair?
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears his hair long it is a disgrace to him,
Does even nature itself not teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, he is disgraced,
Even nature itself teaches you that wearing long hair is shameful for a man.
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace for him,
Suppose a man has long hair. Doesn’t the very nature of things teach you that it is shameful?
Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him,
Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him,
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
Have we not already learned that it is a shame for a man to have long hair?
Isn’t it obvious that it’s disgraceful for a man to have long hair?
Or does not nature teach you that it is discreditable for a man if he has long hair,
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair, it is degrading to him,
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair, it is degrading to him,
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair, it is degrading to him,
Does not nature itself teach you that, if a man wears long hair, it is dishonoring to him,
Doesn’t nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is shameful to him,
Does not teva (nature) itself give you the shiur (lesson) that if a ben Adam wears a long hair-do of a lady’s coiffure, it is a dishonor to him?
Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it dishonors him?
Does not nature itself teach you that for a man to wear long hair is degrading to him,
Does not nature itself teach you that for a man to wear long hair is degrading to him,
Doesn’t the natural order of things teach you—if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace for him;
Consider the ways of nature: doesn’t nature itself teach you that a man who wears his hair long invites shame and dishonor to cover him?
Doesn’t even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
It would be a shame for a man to have long hair. Everyone knows this.
Neither the nature itself teacheth us [that], for if a man nourish long hair, it is shame to him; [Neither the kind itself teacheth us that, for if a man nourish long hair, it is evil fame to him;]
doth not even nature itself teach you, that if a man indeed have long hair, a dishonour it is to him?
