16 In that day (A)it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Do not fear;
Zion, (B)let not your hands be weak.
17 The Lord your God (C)in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
(D)He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
18 “I will gather those who (E)sorrow over the appointed assembly,
Who are among you,
To whom its reproach is a burden.

they will say to Jerusalem,
“Do not fear, Zion;
do not let your hands hang limp.(A)
17 The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.(B)
He will take great delight(C) in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,(D)
but will rejoice over you with singing.”(E)
18 “I will remove from you
all who mourn over the loss of your appointed festivals,
which is a burden and reproach for you.
