⁴ On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,^(A) which faces Jerusalem on the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in half from east to west, forming a huge valley, so that half the mountain will move to the north and half to the south.

Signs of the End of the Age

³ While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” ^(A)

³⁰ After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.^(A)

²⁹ As he approached Bethphage and Bethany, at the place called the Mount of Olives,^(A) he sent two of the disciples

³⁷ Now he came near the path down the Mount of Olives, and the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen:
