Titus 3:1

3 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities,^(A) to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good,^(B)

Titus 3:1

3 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

¹³Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority:^(A) whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority,

¹³Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

¹⁴or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong^(A) and to commend those who do right.^(B)

¹⁴Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
