Ang Pulong Sang Dios
Pangamuyo sang Tawo nga Matarong
17 Pamatii, Ginoo, ang akon nga pagpangayo sang hustisya.
Pamatii ang akon sinsero nga pangamuyo.
2 Nakahibalo ka kon ano ang husto,
gani ikaw ang makahukom nga wala ako sing sala.
3 Gin-usisa mo ang akon tagipusuon bisan kon gab-i.
Gintilawan mo ako kag wala ka sing may nakita nga sala sa akon.
Nagdesisyon ako nga indi maghambal sing malain
4 pareho sang ginahimo sang iban.
Paagi sa pagtuman ko sang imo mga sugo, nalikawan ko ang pagpamintas.
5 Ginasunod ko permi ang imo pamaagi
kag wala ako magsipak sa sini.
6 O Dios, nagapangamuyo ako sa imo
kay nahibaluan ko nga pagasabton mo ako.
Pamatii ang akon pangamuyo.
7 Ipakita ang makatilingala mo nga gugma.
Paagi sa imo gahom, ginaluwas mo ang mga tawo nga nagapangayo sang proteksyon sa imo tungod sang ila mga kaaway.
8 Halungi ako pareho sang paghalong sang tawo sa iya nga mata,
kag protektari ako pareho sang pagprotektar sang pispis sa iya mga buto sa idalom sang iya mga pakpak.
9 Protektari ako sa akon mga kaaway nga nagasalakay sa akon palibot agod patyon ako.
10 Wala sila sing kaluoy, kag matinaas-taason kon maghambal.
11 Ginpangita nila ako kag karon ginalibutan na nila ako.
Nagahulat sila sang kahigayunan nga laglagon ako.
12 Pareho sila sa leon nga nagapalipod,
nga handa sa paggus-ab sa iya mabiktima.
13 Sige na, Ginoo, kontraha kag pierdiha ang akon malaot nga mga kaaway.
Luwasa ako sa ila paagi sa imo gahom.[a]
14 Luwasa ako sa sini nga mga tawo nga nagakabalaka lang sa mga butang diri sa kalibutan.
Siluti sila sang silot nga gintigana mo sa ila,
pati na ang ila mga kabataan.
Kag tigan-i man sang silot ang ila mga apo.[b]
15 Pero ako iya makakita sa imo
kay wala ako sing may nahimo nga sala.
Pagbugtaw ko malipay gid ako sa akon pagkakita sa imo.

A prayer of David.
1 Hear me,(A) Lord, my plea is just;
listen to my cry.(B)
Hear(C) my prayer—
it does not rise from deceitful lips.(D)
2 Let my vindication(E) come from you;
may your eyes see what is right.(F)
3 Though you probe my heart,(G)
though you examine me at night and test me,(H)
you will find that I have planned no evil;(I)
my mouth has not transgressed.(J)
4 Though people tried to bribe me,
I have kept myself from the ways of the violent
through what your lips have commanded.
5 My steps have held to your paths;(K)
my feet have not stumbled.(L)
6 I call on you, my God, for you will answer me;(M)
turn your ear to me(N) and hear my prayer.(O)
7 Show me the wonders of your great love,(P)
you who save by your right hand(Q)
those who take refuge(R) in you from their foes.
8 Keep me(S) as the apple of your eye;(T)
hide me(U) in the shadow of your wings(V)
9 from the wicked who are out to destroy me,
from my mortal enemies who surround me.(W)
10 They close up their callous hearts,(X)
and their mouths speak with arrogance.(Y)
11 They have tracked me down, they now surround me,(Z)
with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground.
12 They are like a lion(AA) hungry for prey,(AB)
like a fierce lion crouching in cover.
13 Rise up,(AC) Lord, confront them, bring them down;(AD)
with your sword rescue me from the wicked.
14 By your hand save me from such people, Lord,
from those of this world(AE) whose reward is in this life.(AF)
May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies;
may their children gorge themselves on it,
and may there be leftovers(AG) for their little ones.
