¹⁷ And he said, “What is the word that the Lord spoke to you? Please do not hide it from me. ^(A)God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you.”

¹³ may ^(A)the Lord do so and much more to Jonathan. But if it pleases my father to do you evil, then I will report it to you and send you away, that you may go in safety. And ^(B)the Lord be with you as He has ^(C)been with my father.

¹⁶ So Jonathan made a covenant with the ^[a]house of David, saying, ^(A)“Let the Lord require it at the hand of David’s enemies.”
