^12 (A)The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us ^(B)cast off ^(C)the works of darkness and ^(D)put on the armour of light.

⁸ for ^(A)at one time you were ^(B)darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. ^(C)Walk as children of light

⁴ But you ^(A)are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. ⁵ For you are all ^(B)children^[a] of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.
