⁴ Now as we have many parts in one body,^(A) and all the parts do not have the same function, ⁵ in the same way we who are many^(B) are one body in Christ^(C) and individually members of one another.

¹⁷ Because there is one bread, we who are many are one^(A) body, for all of us share that one bread.

Unity Yet Diversity in the Body

¹² For as the body is one^(A) and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body—so also is Christ.^{(B) 13} For we were all baptized by^[a] one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.^(C)

¹⁶ He did this so that He might reconcile both to God in one body^(A) through the cross and put the hostility to death by it.^[a]

¹⁸ For through Him we both have access^(A) by one Spirit to the Father.^(B)

¹⁵ And let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called^(A) in one body, control your hearts. Be thankful.
