¹³ Let us walk with decency,^(A) as in the daylight: not in carousing and drunkenness;^(B) not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy.

²¹ I fear that when I come my God will again^[a] humiliate me in your presence, and I will grieve for many who sinned before and have not repented^(A) of the moral impurity, sexual immorality,^(B) and promiscuity^(C) they practiced.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are obvious:^[a][b] sexual immorality,^(A) moral impurity,^(B) promiscuity,^(C)

¹⁹ They became callous and gave themselves over to promiscuity for the practice of every kind of impurity^(A) with a desire for more and more.^[a]

³ For there has already been enough time spent in doing what the pagans choose to do:^[a] carrying on in unrestrained behavior, evil desires,^(A) drunkenness, orgies,^(B) carousing, and lawless idolatry.
