⁴⁰ The Lord helps^(A) them and delivers^(B) them;
    he delivers them from the wicked and saves^(C) them,
    because they take refuge^(D) in him.

²¹ “I will save^(A) you from the hands of the wicked^(B)
    and deliver^(C) you from the grasp of the cruel.”^(D)

¹³ Sing^(A) to the Lord!
    Give praise to the Lord!
He rescues^(B) the life of the needy
    from the hands of the wicked.^(C)
