18 I love you, O Lord, my strength.

¹⁷ O my Strength, I will sing praises to you,
    for you, O God, ^(A)are my fortress,
    ^(B)the God who shows me steadfast love.

¹⁴ The Lord is my strength and my song;
    ^(A)he has become my salvation.

    you have covered my head in the day of battle.
