^12 (A)Who is the man so wise that he can understand this? To whom has the mouth of the Lord spoken, that he may declare it? Why is the land ruined ^(B)and laid waste like a wilderness, so that no one passes through?

^10 (A)Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but ^(B)the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, ^(C)but those who are wise shall understand.

^47 (A)Whoever is of God hears the words of God. ^(B)The reason why you do not hear them is that ^(C)you are not of God.”
