¹³ Then he said, “Listen now, ^(A)house of David! Is it too trivial a thing for you to ^[a]try the patience of men, that you will ^[b](B)try the patience of ^(C)my God as well?

⁹ Then those of you who escape will ^(A)remember Me among the nations to which they will be taken captive, how I have ^[a](B)been hurt by their adulterous hearts which turned away from Me, and by their eyes which committed infidelity with their idols; and they will ^(C)loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed, for all their abominations.

¹⁷ You have ^(A)wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you say, “How have we wearied Him?” In that you say, “^(B)Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He ^(C)delights in them,” or, “^(D)Where is the God of ^(E)justice?”
