¹⁴⁷I rise before dawn^(A) and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.

¹⁴⁷I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

⁶I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen^(A) wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.^(B)

⁶My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

¹⁸The path of the righteous^(A) is like the morning sun,^(B)
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.^(C)

¹⁸But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
