³ The integrity of the upright guides them,
    but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.^(A)

²¹ For your ways are in full view^(A) of the Lord,
    and he examines^(B) all your paths.^(C)
22 The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare them;^(D)
    the cords of their sins hold them fast.^(E)
23 For lack of discipline they will die,^(F)
    led astray by their own great folly.^(G)

⁶ Righteousness guards the person of integrity,
    but wickedness overthrows the sinner.^(A)

⁷ The violence of the wicked will drag them away,^(A)
    for they refuse to do what is right.
