Proverbs 22:7-9

New King James Version

⁷ The ^(A)rich rules over the poor,
And the borrower is servant to the lender.

⁸ He who sows iniquity will reap ^(B)sorrow,^[a]
And the rod of his anger will fail.

^9 (C)He who has a ^[b]generous eye will be ^(D)blessed,
For he gives of his bread to the poor.
