Proverbs 1:25-28
New American Standard Bible
25 And you (A)neglected all my advice
And did not (B)want my rebuke;
26 I will also (C)laugh at your (D)disaster;
I will mock when your (E)dread comes,
27 When your dread comes like a storm
And your disaster comes like a (F)whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
28 Then they will (G)call on me, but I will not answer;
They will (H)seek me diligently but will not find me,

25 since you disregard all my advice
and do not accept my rebuke,

27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster(E) sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
