¹² Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted^(A) the prophets who were before you.^(B)

²¹ But they will do all these things to you on account of My name,^(A) because they don’t know^(B) the One who sent Me.

¹³ Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of the Messiah,^(A) so that you may also rejoice with great joy at the revelation^(B) of His glory.
