¹⁹ Go, therefore, and make disciples^(A) of^[a] all nations,^(B) baptizing^(C) them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

³⁸ “Repent,”^(A) Peter said to them, “and be baptized,^(B) each of you, in the name^(C) of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

⁴⁸ And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.^(A) Then they asked him to stay for a few days.

² and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”

“No,” they told him, “we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”^(A)
