⁴⁰ and saying, “The One who would demolish the sanctuary and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross!”^(A)

¹⁹ Jesus answered, “Destroy this sanctuary,^(A) and I will raise it up in three days.”^(B)

¹⁴ For we heard him say that Jesus, this Nazarene, will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us.”^(A)
