With God All Things Are Possible^(A)

²³Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that ^(B)it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. ²⁴And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

²⁵When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”

²⁶But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but ^(C)with God all things are possible.”

²⁷Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, ^(D)we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?”

²⁸So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, ^(E)you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. ²⁹^(F)And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother ^[a]or wife or children or ^[b]lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. ³⁰^(G)But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

²³^(B)Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” ²⁴And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is ^[a]for those ^(C)who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! ²⁵It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a ^(D)rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

²⁶And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?”

²⁷But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not ^(E)with God; for with God all things are possible.”

²⁹So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother ^[b]or wife or children or ^[c]lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, ³⁰^(G)who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with ^(H)persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. ³¹^(I)But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
