⁹ As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them,^(A) “Don’t tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised^[a] from the dead.”

²⁵ “I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here,^(A) when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.^(B)

⁹ For they still did not understand the Scripture^(A) that He must rise^(B) from the dead.^(C)

¹⁴ This was now the third time^[a](A) Jesus appeared^[b](B) to the disciples after He was raised from the dead.

²⁴ God raised Him up, ending the pains of death,^(A) because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.
