^2 (A)Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, ^(B)Simon, who is called Peter, and his brother ^(C)Andrew; and ^[a](D)James the son of Zebedee, and his brother ^[b]John;

¹⁴ And He appointed twelve, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach,

¹³ And when day came, ^(A)He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as ^(B)apostles:

^10 (A)When the apostles returned, they gave an account to Him of all that they had done. ^(B)And taking them with Him, He withdrew privately to a city called ^(C)Bethsaida.

^5 (A)The apostles said to ^(B)the Lord, “Increase our faith!”

^14 (A)When the hour came, He reclined at the table, and ^(B)the apostles with Him.

¹⁰ Now these women were ^(A)Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James; also the other women with them were telling these things to ^(B)the apostles.

² until the day when He ^(A)was taken up to heaven, after He ^(B)had given orders ^[a]by the Holy Spirit to ^(C)the apostles whom He had ^(D)chosen.

²⁶ And they ^[a](A)drew lots for them, and the lot fell ^[b]to ^(B)Matthias; and he was added to ^(C)the eleven apostles.
