40 and saying, “The One tearing-down the temple and building it in three days, save Yourself— if [a] You are God’s Son— and come down from the cross”. 41 Likewise also the chief priests, mocking Him with the scribes and elders, were saying, 42 “He saved others— Himself He is not able to save! He is King of Israel— let Him come down now from the cross and we will put-faith upon Him!

40 and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days,(A) save yourself!(B) Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!”(C) 41 In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. 42 “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel!(D) Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe(E) in him.
