^67 (A)Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and ^(B)others struck Him with ^[a]the palms of their hands,

⁶⁸ saying, ^(A)“Prophesy to us, Christ! Who is the one who struck You?”

^29 (A)When they had ^[a]twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

⁴¹ Likewise the chief priests also, mocking with the ^[a]scribes and elders, said,

²⁰ And when they had ^(A)mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him.
