^16 (A)Whoever believes and is ^(B)baptized ^(C)will be saved, but ^(D)whoever ^(E)does not believe will be condemned.

³³ And he took them ^(A)the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he ^(B)was baptized at once, he and all his family.

³ Do you not know that all of us ^(A)who have been baptized ^(B)into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? ⁴ We were ^(C)buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as ^(D)Christ was raised from the dead by ^(E)the glory of the Father, we too might walk in ^(F)newness of life.

⁵ For ^(G)if we have been united with him in ^(H)a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. ⁶ We know that ^(I)our old self^{[a] (J)}was crucified with him in order that ^(K)the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
