⁵² because they had not understood about the loaves. Instead, their hearts were hardened.^(A)

¹⁸ So then, he has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy and he hardens whom he wants to harden.^(A)

²⁵ I don’t want you to be ignorant^(A) of this mystery,^(B) brothers and sisters, so that you will not be conceited:^(C) A partial hardening has come upon Israel^(D) until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.^(E)

A Ministry of Life or Death

¹⁴ But thanks be to God,^(A) who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of him in every place.^(B)
