11 This was done of the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
12 Then they [a]went about to take him, but they feared the people: for they perceived that he spake that parable against them: therefore they left him, and went their way.
13 ¶ (A)[b]And they sent unto him certain of the Pharisees, and of the Herodians, that they might take him in his talk.

New International Version
12 Then the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders looked for a way to arrest him because they knew he had spoken the parable against them. But they were afraid of the crowd;(B) so they left him and went away.(C)
Paying the Imperial Tax to Caesar(D)
13 Later they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians(E) to Jesus to catch him(F) in his words.
