⁹ Then an angel of the Lord^(A) stood before^[a] them,^(B) and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.^[b]

²⁴ For as the lightning flashes from horizon to horizon and lights up the sky, so the Son of Man will be in His day.^(A)

⁷ Suddenly an angel of the Lord^(A) appeared, and a light shone in the cell. Striking Peter on the side, he woke him up and said, “Quick, get up!” Then the chains fell off his wrists.^(B)
