³¹ “But he told him, ‘If they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded if someone rises from the dead.’”^(A)

The Third Prediction of His Death

³¹ Then^(A) He took the Twelve aside and told them, “Listen! We are going up to Jerusalem.^(B) Everything that is written^(C) through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished.^(D)

²⁷ King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you believe.”

²¹ because no prophecy ever came by the will of man;^(A) instead, men spoke from God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.^(B)
